If you love watching fireworks, then be sure not to miss New Mexico’s largest fireworks display! This fantastic annual show begins at dusk from Elephant Butte Lake, just 40 minutes north of Hatch, New Mexico. The park waves fees after 6PM, so this event is free! You’ll get to watch the biggest fireworks show in New Mexico over our state’s largest body of water, launching from Rattlesnake Island. Plan to arrive early for better views, bring some large blankets for sitting on, then sit back and enjoy. Kick off your 4th of July celebration with a bang!
