Happy Friday, everyone! This week’s Photo Friday features a gorgeous New Mexican monsoon sunset:
In the summer, the clouds roll in and the rain cools the desert, giving us a brief respite from the heat. The desert blooms are a sight to see, some of which last only for a night. Then, the southwest’s incredible sunsets paint the sky with lush oranges and pinks, creating a natural spectacle unlike anywhere else in the world. New Mexico’s monsoon season can last anywhere from June 15th through September 30th, giving residents and visitors alike ample time to enjoy the gift of images like in this photo.
