Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide visitors to the southwest with the means to explore the natural beauty and discover the many cultural wonders of this land of enchantment.  We believe that through exposure to the beauty and exchange with the people can one can truly learn to appreciate these places and forever protect them.

Environmental Policy

Touch the Southwest strives to be as green and environmentally friendly as possible.  To this end, our fleet of luxury touring vehicles are some of the most fuel efficient and clean running vehicles on the road today.  And, we no longer provide individual disposable plastic water bottles to our clients.  Instead, we ask our guest to bring their own bottles and we will fill them with cool filtered water we keep in insulated casks in our vehicles.  We take our responsibility to help reduce, reuse, and recycle quite seriously.  Why?  If we don’t, who will?  Besides, it’s the right thing to do.

Reservations & Cancellations for Day Tours from Santa Fe

To request a reservation, please fill out our Reservation Request Form.  All reservations are confirmed by telephone.

No refunds will be granted for cancellations received less than 48 hours from time of departure.  Full refunds are granted for any tour cancelled by us.  Generally, this only happens when foul weather moves in.

How We Work

We like to start with a good conversation because speaking directly with you is the single best way to learn exactly what it is you want to see and do. That’s why we prefer a phone conversation first.

Planning Fee

Once we’ve had a chance to talk with the you, to ask our questions and learned what you want, we then ask for a nonrefundable Planning Fee so we can begin researching and developing your unique travel package.  Fees start at $400 and go up from there, the amount determined by the length and complexity of the trip. Planning Fees are applied to the final cost of the trip, in the event you book with us.

What You Get

For the Plan To Go Fee, the client receives a detailed day-to-day itinerary, complete with descriptions of destinations, activities, and lodgings, as well as the names of the properties we are recommending. We also include a price quote for the entire package. Included in the Plan To Go Fee is one round of changes and modifications. Additional changes will be billed as needed on an hourly basis. These additional fees are not applied to the final cost of the trip.

Deposits, Payments & Cancellations

Deposits:  A 50% deposit is required to secure rates, accommodations and services.

Payments: Final Payment is required no later than ninety (90) days from the date of departure.

Note:  All planning fees, deposits and final payments are nonrefundable.

Cancellations & Refunds

No Refunds Will Be Granted For Any Cancellations Initiated By The Client.

Touch the Southwest Tours will issue refunds for any portion of a trip we or our suppliers must cancel.

Trip/Travel Insurance: We highly recommend our clients purchase Trip/Travel Insurance. This assures you are covered in the event of an unforeseen happenstance that would cause you to cancel your trip.
